Gotta be pleased with the 1H, from the standpoint of a 2 1/2 point home fav.
And the play was relatively predictable, given the matchup between the #15 D ranked team vs the #32 D which has been moving significantly up the ranks for UCLA.
I'm expecting Fickell to test the edges to a greater extent in the 2H, as UCLA's D continues to turn heads. As to Wisky's D, they have size and solid tackling form viz UCLA averaging only 2 1/2 yds per carry.
TD has been impressive, with the things I like best about him: calm in the pocket and no happy feet. Already 151 passing yard, as you can see that calm in the way he reads his pass options.
UCLA gets the 2H kick, a consequence (UCLA declined the opening kickoff) that Chez puts solid importance on in terms of setting the pace in the 2H.
This game will be sensitive to turnovers and mistakes, wherein UCLA is giving away nuttin', re- 0 turnovers (no lost fumbles and the last play Hail Mary INT of no consequence) and only 2 penalties.
Pressure is really on Wisky as they are not a proficient O team, hence the importance of UCLA minimizing mistakes as per their pitching a shutout in the 1H.
