them to turn is either money(bought off) or credible threats. I can buy one or two switching teams, though even that is hard to swallow when we're talking about trump, but not all four of them. Money can be passed in so many ways that would never be seen. Seems the most likely.
The only other explanation is that they were all gutter dwellers all along and were faking the progressive schtick for notoriety and money.
