Literally in Wellington, did a tour of Mirarmar yesterday which is the movie making hotbed of NZ. Both Peter Jackson and James Cameron have homes there,.
So I'm assuming Trump is talking about stuff like that when he says losing business. But they didn't lose LOTR and Avatar to another country, they simply could NOT make those movies in the US because we didn't have the right locations.
Anybody that suggests it's regulations that led those movies to be made in NZ, has never been in NZ, the regulations here are MUCH stricter than in the US.
