Far too many folks with a European background, that would make the attempt unsustainable. Folks are already getting mad that he is cutting jobs, imagine what happens when he institutes a draft and our young is fighting.
But to your point, Europe is getting ready to escalate. And while trump thinks he can side with Russia, the vast populace of the United States does not. And btw, attacking Greenland is attacking Denmark which is attacking NATO. They will fight back. trump has turned himself into a world bully and nobody likes him.
And yes Europe can take over the peace talks. Its already started. They all met today along with Canada.
