When you are a billionaire the best way to buy up all of the country's assets is to crash the economy. If the Dow dropped 75% none of the Trump oligarchs would be the least bit affected. They will just swoop in and buy up as much as they can.
Musk said gutting the government would solve inflation and he is right, crashing the economy would solve inflation since demand would go to zero and prices would fall because only buyers will be the Oligarchs.
