Why is Donald Trump rating still over 50%?

Everything he has done is detrimental to our democracy. He has done nothing to actually improve our quality of life.

From what I've seen on social media, message boards, etc., most comments are about how he's bad for the country.

So why are the polls still showing over 50% for his approval ratings? I don't get it.
