Yep, on our farm coyotes were frequent night visitors

Chickens were on the menu for many carnivores. Our chicken pen was well armed with high fences, boards buried at the base to discourage them from trying to dig under the fences, and a coup where the chickens were locked in for the night.

Every now and then there would be a nighttime ruckus in the coup as something spooked the chickens in the coop.

Thinking back I realized that chickens and MAGA Hats have a lot in common. They're easily spooked and cackle like heck for awhile, and like a dog, if you pretend to throw them a little food, they'll follow you around the yard like little puppies.
