It may just be performative bullshit, but you never know. China might be better off keeping their best and brightest in their own country or sending them to Europe instead. They might end up attracting international students from around the world while MAGA is busy destroying our universities.
The brain drain has begun. Our universities being the envy of the world will be a thing of the past.
