He also made Trump's envoy wait 8 hours. Trump won't admit these things happened even though everyone knows it did.
I was worried when Russia promised not to hit energy installations. This would have been a good agreement in Russia's favor to safeguard their oil faculties which are getting decimated from Ukrainian drones. Thankfully in Putin slapped Trump in a face by bombing Ukrainian energy infrastructure 3 hours later.
Trump strangely gave Ukraine a political opening by calling Russia's bluff.
Pre-demand of a ceasefire both sides argued that they wanted peace. (Neither wanted peace.)
Post-demand Ukraine offered the cease fire so Trump released the intel and I believe the Biden weapons he was holding up (I'm not sure on the weapons) since that was the offer. Russia now can't make the pretense that it wants peace. Russia could always have peace but stopping their invasion.
There will be no Korea style border if there is a cease fire. Countries like England, France, Turkey, etc said they will send a total of 30K troops to Ukraine and will house them in the major cities away from the border like Liviv which is on the other side of the country near Poland. It's not clear these peace keepers will be allowed to defend any offensive push by Russia. Russia is attacking Ukraine with over 1,000,000 troops, I'm not sure what 30K light infantry peace keepers are going to do without any air support who are stationed far from the border.
