whatever good will I had for them disappeared in 2020.
This new party that I would like to see would have to (a) organize very strongly among those of us who are on the left or the Democratic Party leadership and form a meaningful front, and then (b) leverage that front against the Democratic Party, not only to force them into policy concessions, but also into an alliance that brings the third party into the congress on specific districts through coordination of candidates. This is a tactic used in the parliamentarian system that can easily be adapted to our (intrinsically undemocratic) winner take all system.
