as bad as the Trump and Putin lovefest is am I the only one a bit disturbed that the "most important diplomat in a generation", has literally no experience in government or diplomacy other than Trump?
If you read his wiki page Witkoff is a real estate investor, his only prior government experience was Trump hiring him in 2020 to work on the Covid task force. If your only experience in government was being part of the task force that botched Covid worse than any other country, that's a bit scary.
He was also the guy playing golf with Trump the day they arrested the alleged 2nd assassination attempt guy outside of Trumps club.
That's it, that's his qualifications to negotiate with Russia, real estate investor, plays golf with Trump
