With Elon's antics, there has been a lot of capital investment into competitors including Jeff Bezos.
With Elon's politics being a part of Starlink's services, many countries don't think it is worth it to have Elon have leverage in their country as he does in the US.
England has a competitor about 6 months to a year behind Starlink.
More money has been put into these competitors because they see an opening in the market.
As much as Musk will insert himself into US's infrastructure, the next Dem administration will remove him from it just as Reagan removed Carter's WH solar panels out of spite, although with Musk, there are real security reasons to push him out.
I doubt a second Republican will be able to run on bringing Musk back into government.
As much as Tesla's stock has fallen, it is still many times what it is worth if you consider it's 5% market share and earnings. It is still overpriced as a meme stock.
The more Musk inserts Starlink into the US government by force, the more foreign governments will reject it. Parts of Canada have already walked away from large contracts.
Starlink is actually a great product where as Tesla is 3rd tier but expect Starlink to get hit by protests also down the line.
