On NBC news, in a phone interview with kritin Welker, Trump was asked about the claim he warned Auto execs if they raised prices because of the tariffs he would retaliate against them Trump denied the claim and then said “No, I never said that,” Trump told Welker. “I couldn’t care less if they raise prices, because people are going to start buying American cars.”
