During my Business Calculus class, I showed that the day after 9/11, the stock market dropped 7%.
As we were learning derivatives, we were having a historic moment. I showed them NIKE dropping 13%, Disney dropping 9%, etc.
For spring break, I told them to watch the news for truth tellers and people who could see the opportunity in the panic of this moment because their children would read about today in their history textbooks.
