First of all, from the reporting, it sounds like this is Peter Navarro's plan from the first Donald Trump's 4 years that Trump was talked out of.
Second, no one has gone on record. No one has resigned.
Whether they agree with it or not, they are supporting it. They are the people in the small room when this decision is made. They just want to keep their job in supporting the madman while pretending that they are appalled.
We could easily remove these tariffs with a handful of GOP congressmen, Mike Johnson, and the majority leader, since tariffs are under Congress's control when they want it to be.
These are the same people who also are telling reporters that they are appalled but are doing nothing but enabling the destruction of the global economy because their position is Congress is more important than anything in the world, literally.
