Incompetence vs. malevolence

I've said before that the open question about tRump 2.0 was which of his two most prominent characteristics would win out; incompetence or malevolence.

I originally thought malevolence, as he is inherently an evil narcissist, only interested in helping himself and hurting his perceived opponents. So this is grift + gutting DOJ to his own personal benefit + deportations + anti-DEI changes + a thousand other things. The grift itself is historically (and I mean as in history of government in any country anywhere) outrageous and we'll never know the full extent. The rest is tRump just being the absolute worst person on the planet (except for maybe his slave master in moscow).

Watching him destroy the economy though is an absolute self-own that demonstrates epic and unrivaled incompetence. He absolutely did NOT have to impose a single fvcking tariff and could have just taken the typical republican approach of slowly destroying a sound economy until Democrats have to fix it, AGAIN.

Incompetence is pulling ahead of malevolence, until that fvcking orange POS cancels the midterm elections anyway.
