Which just further explains why nobody believes Trump saying he's MS13 in the Abrego Garcia case.
If you read the NY Times story Bukele insisted he only wanted convicted criminals and gang members to be sent there but he quickly realized Trump was sending people whose only crime was illegally entering the US, which violated their agreement. So he demanded proof and Trump and company couldn't provide it Bukele could tell they were lying. So he got Trump to promise to release more people and pay more money and in exchange, Bukele took people he knew were not convicted criminals or gang members and lied about it saying they WERE gang members.
So clearly Abrego Garcia's MS13 ties are even more in dobut
