During the election he lied to victims of Helene and said Biden had stolen money from FEMA for illegals etc and convinced many NOT to register for federal aid. He has now cut off that aid so if you didn't file, you can't get it. He also canceled a promise Biden made to use federal funds to help with the cleanup, he just cut them off cold.
Missisippi has been waiting 2 months for a decision on federal aid, not actual aid, just a decision on if they will provide aid or not. One man has been searching his property for 2 months attemping to find a piece of property made from his moms wedding ring. He said it's the only thing keeping him going, nobody has anything and his only reason to get up and live every day is trying to find that. He voted for Trump like most of his area did but now says he wishes he'd voted for Harris, we were all lied to he's a horrible man.
Arkansas has been asking for over a month, the administration last week announced they were providing help at multiple locations but all it was in reality was people helping victims fill out federal forms, which do nothing because Trump hasn't authorized the funds those forms provide access to.
