Should qualify that as language related abstract logic

for all I know, he might be good with numbers, spatial orientation, and other similar mental skills that require abstract manipulation, but when it comes to language related contexts and language based reasoning, he's really got some handicap going. The point is, I don't think he's doing this just to be argumentative. He's argumentative because he lacks that basic skill to fully understand the point being made and he gets frustrated because in his mind everyone is missing the most obvious point, which is, the literal reading of the words, which is the only reading of the words.
