The cease fire period would begin in six hours (this was a 4pm PDT, so nothing changes until 10pm PDT). So we still have another 90 minutes of fireworks.
At that time, Iran is supposed to stop their attacks. After 12 hours of silence from Iran (during which time, apparently, Israel is still free to attack) then Israel is supposed to halt their attacks (along with Iran) for 12 hours.
Once Israel has been silent for 12 hours, and Iran has been silent for 24 hours, the cease fire becomes permanent.
Which means everything is supposed to be over by 10pm PDT tomorrow.
We'll see what happens. But nothing is supposed to have changed quite yet.
