It's pretty short. An intro, five chapters, and a conclusion.
The authors are Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson.
They do a great job of explaining how America has gotten so bollixed up. And in fact, America has always been kinda bollixed up. But in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
One analogy I've never heard before is, "DDE is to FDR as Bill Clinton is to Ronald Reagan."
