and proceeded full force with his approval. This is the genocide that the Democratic Party refused to acknowledge then, and still refuses to acknowledge to this day.

As usual, my ire is directed at Democratic Party leadership more than anyone else here. They were the ones who were supposed to listen and pay attention, and they *chose* not to.
