Should also add if you accept this it explains why the early polling that was being reported as VERY good for Harris in the early voting didn't pan out. Because that was the votes that "disappeared" they were polling based on mail in and early ballots turned in, they had no way of knowing if all of those votes were going to get counted. We know SOME of them weren't that's public, NC and a couple of other states challenged votes and they didn't get cured in time to get counted that's a literal fact. But we have no idea how many other people voted and it wasn't counted. We have a system in California that tells you yes we we received your vote and it was counted, in other states but polls have consistently shown most people don't bother to check.
So say someone just took bags of mail in ballots from blue precincts and threw them away, how many in the bag would ever know that their vote wasn't recorded? We know at least anecdotally tens of thousands said they voted and it wasn't counted but I've always been suspicious of that too.
If I were a Democrat that "sat out" this election and then woke up to the news Trump had won I'm not sure I wouldn't be tempted to just say hey I voted where is my vote rather than admit I was too lazy to vote and Trump won because of it.
