I'm with you that Democrats don't have a winning message (I'm not sure at this point that they even have a message to begin with) and I do agree that the 2024 election was going against Democrats (which I believe I stated many times before, emphasizing that this was a change election *once again* and that Harris not separating herself from Biden and embracing the Democratic orthodoxy was a huge mistake).
And yet ... I can't help but look at what mechanism has been constructed around voting machines and see how bad that is. Perhaps the Palantir AI didn't have to do much this time. Perhaps it did absolutely nothing. But there is something to be said about building an AI engine inside a voting machine and keeping it connected to other voting machines, which I'd say is absolutely one of the worst ideas you can have around perovided that you're at all interested in a democractic and fair process.
