Think I posted it yesterday but the EU "deal" is going to make prescription drugs go up, if you use them be aware.

I get shots in both knees every 6 months for osteoarthritis, gel shots hylauronic acid. For some reason US health says that's outpatient surgery, I get them done at an orthopedic surgeon for Sutter. Since I moved I had to get a referral and approval to get them done here in Sacramento. INsurance only covers every 6 months 1 shot a week for 3 weeks. And it doesn't fully cover them unless you've already maxed out your deductible and out of pocket again because it's considered surgery even though its a shot in the knee.

I was told they are going for approval now, will get them shipped to the doc here in Sac and then as of first of Sept it will be 6 months and I can get them done. The reason they're rushing is they're trying to beat the tariffs because gelsyn comes from.... Europe. I have not maxed out my deductible and out of pocket yet so I will have to pay 2-3k for the shots, but if the tariff is in effect I will get to pay an additional 300 to 450 bucks thanks to the idiot in the White House.

My GF"s cousin had heart issues last year, nearly died, under 40 in great shape just a crazy situation. One of the drugs he has to take, for the rest of his life, costs over 1000 a month right now, and is made in.... the EU so it will add 150 a month to his costs.
