Otwerwise, as I stated many times over here and elsewhere, I would like our current system to be abolished nationally and move to a proportional representation model so votes that spread across a state can be pooled in, not only to accurately represent where the population of the state is, politically, but also to allow smaller parties to see a path towards putting some representatives into the House, which would inject so much dynamism into our terminally sclerotic politics.

Before we get there, there must be a way to open this door. Republicans taught us that conformoing the legal framework is merely optional anyway.
