he thinks you earn your way into heaven and not surprisingly thinks he has very little chance. Dude doesn't even know how you get to heaven. That may be why he's running around saying he's stopped a bunch of wars. At least that's what he has said: very little chance, but maybe if he stops a bunch of wars. One of these evangelicals he hangs out with should fill him in on the formula.
Also, someone should remind all those evangelicals that claiming to be a peacemaker is a widely believed to be an indicator of another figure that looms large in the Bible. You know, the end parts. Or, maybe all these evangelicals aren't really evangelicals at all. That would explain a lot of their behavior.
