US President Donald Trump has all manner of buildings named after him, from hotels to office towers. But there is one massive, iconic dome that could soon carry his name in the nation's capital.
The White House has been quietly chatting with the owners of the Washington Commanders football team about naming its new stadium after the president, a senior White House official told ESPN.
The planned $3.7 billion stadium will be built on the site of the old RFK Stadium, which is currently being demolished.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt all but confirmed in an email to the BBC that Trump wants the stadium to bear his name. "That would be a beautiful name", she said.
She added that it "was President Trump who made the rebuilding of the new stadium possible".
The unnamed White House official told ESPN: "It's what the president wants, and it will probably happen."
