The prosecutions were initiated by Trump's DOJ, which convicted the man's brother and indicted his key associate.
The prosecution of all was led by Emil Bove, Trump Hatchet man who Trump recently appointed to a court of appeals seat.
So Trump or someone close to him got paid.
