greasing up Trump because (I think) he wants ICE to hit the brake during the World Cup period and not harass, detain, or deport the fans who are coming for the games. If ICE goes on the raids at the stadiums, as they promised, it would be a major disaster for FIFA and USA soccer in general. The USMNT would have to step up to the plate and make some grand gesture to save any face on the international stage and we all know that they would be scared sh*tless being pushed into that position.
So things will get really nasty in June and July (if I have my calendar right).
