Exactly. There's actually been 3 incidents with survivors. The first one we just killed them. The second one Trump wanted to put them in CECOT. The third one we blew up 4 boats off MExico in one day, there was a survivor, we did nothing for hours then notified the Mexican navy hey we blew up boats you might find a survivor still alive. Navy went and looked for a few days never found him. Sheinbaum was furious as they hadn't been notified the US was active in the area. It took a month for the US to list that person as a death they hadn't counted him saying well he could be alive.
So they had 3 survivor incidents and handled each one differently. 3 of them died entirely because of the actions after the initial incident.
