but I'm a firm believer in standards following usage and not being imposed on people, except where obviously, pejorative terms or terms that would be offensive in a common sense kinda way are being used.
That said, I do understand the navy ships parked in Bahrein (because who else is gonna police the world?) deferring to the local usage in their official dealings. But being able to impose a name change outside of those narrow, practical reasons? I'll leave it at that and save everyone the rant that's coming.
