I agree. The whole alliance is held together by Trump currently

Vance is trying extra hard to consolidate the coalition of technofeudalists, Christian nationalists, white supremacists, and the disillusioned working class behind him. Technofeudalists are easy, he's already their guy, but the latter three? He needs to dump Usha pronto for Christian nationalists and white supremacists, like yesterday. Erika Kirk would help him on both fronts to some extent, but groypers are not your regular political group. As far as I can tell they're like other Gen-Z'ers, they care about authenticity, and for him to drop Usha now and pick up Erika will come across as unforgivably calculating. The disillusioned working class needs someone with charisma. So they won't touch Vance with a 10 ft pole.

So yeah, once Don is dead, the cult of Trump is dead. MAGA, as we know it is also dead. But next up is Fuentes' "America First", I think. It would be a different cult, a much narrower cult, but the Republican Party has the same weakness that the Democratic Party has: neither one is able to create any new ideas or solutions to problems a lot of people feel in their everyday lives. So just as they had no way to resist the rise of Trump because they had no answers, they will also have no answers once Fuentes gets going.

All this has happened before. All this will happen again.
