There are so many things to pursue, whether it is the war crimes or corruption or out and out fascism, that Trump has been able to overwhelm the traditional news outlets in general.
I think it is also the case that many of the countries who would have pursued this line of inquiry are also overwhelmed both by their internal politics always on the verge of full on fascist onslaught, as well as the ongoing atrocities that keep getting ignored, whether it is Gaza, Sudan, or Ukraine.
I think this is all a part of learned helplessness that we all feel. And a sense of nothing, at the end, changes at all. Pillars of civilization we assumed were strong enough have all fallen apart at this point.
That said, yeah, there should be more coverage of this ... for posterity, if nothing else.
