Foreign governments have figured out that flattering the demented old slob is more effective than bashing him, and his ability to damage the world economy through a combination of sheer incompetence and malice is something they want to avoid.
Mostly I think they are just getting out of the way of Trump stepping on his own dick, and denigrating America's economic and political influence.
