LLM Is idiot layer upon idiot layer all the way down. Its significance and what makes it impressive is the thing that the public takes for granted the most: its ability to form coherent sentences simply by moving in a linear fashion (left to right in English), presumably without any internal structure. It has its uses, obviously, but there is no spirit in that machine.
