The inflation reduction act has very little to do with reducing inflation other than discounting a number of core drugs. It was the green new deal with a new name so the senator from SC could sign it without political fallout.
That doesn't excuse the GOP who wanted to take claim for all of the red state jobs/infrastructure it started to build before Trump canceled it.
