Any Democratic statement that is not built on this central premise is utterly worthless. It cannot be the case that Thomas Massie is the only person of any import making this point loud and clear.

The oil is not ours.

It’s not American oil. It’s Venezuelan oil.

Oil companies entered into risky deals to develop oil, and the deals were canceled by a prior Venezuelan government.
