so formally, yeah we may sound alike because we both don't like the Democratic Party and consider it an obstacle on our path to a better future. But that's where the similarity ends. The future I want is something that woody despises and the future he wants is my nightmare.

When Biden decided to run again, the machinery around him did not tell him to step down. While he was governing as the president, the machinery did not tell him to make better use of Harris and prep her for a presidential run in 2024, give her more visibility and winnable tasks she can run on.

They did not try to pressure him to back off. They deferred to his judgment and circled the wagons around him. And for the longest time they kept repeating the mantra that age is just a number.

When Harris took the nomination (without a primary because the primaries were already over by that point and we were not going to have a mini-primaries, despite what Ezra Klein's wishes) she started fast, but was never able to differentiate herself from Biden in an election where the public was craving for a change so much that they were willing to give the previous guy his job back.

I don't want to make claims that are not true. So let me know what part of this didn't happen.
