I think many of them have spent nearly 10 years in the cult and they just refuse to accept and admit they were wrong and defended a horrible man and atrocities for 10 years. So they just keep doubling down.
Someone I went to school with has a post on her FB page what happened to us we used to get along we could discuss differences without hate. 2 posts down I linked a story on Venezuelan military rounding up people showing support for Trump. She's a Trump supporter so she respondd by saying "Russ if you don't like it get the Bleep out of this country then."
Same person 2 posts apart why all the hate, get the bleep out of my country.
