back in the AOL era that there is no privacy. Anything you write and press Submit can be made public. Are these people that stupid? Including the world's greatest genius Elon?

It became real when in the early 2000s, corporate attorneys from my previous employer met with me to discuss a lawsuit. They showed up with binders of all the emails by me over the 8 years I worked there dating back to 1991. Before the commercialization of the Internet, the company had its mainframe based electronic communication system.

The Internet is forever. Even here, although the Internet Archive seems spotty, I am sure everything is getting backed up somewhere. Hello, Palantir.
