Trump is the end of the first republic

I'm pretty sure this is not a very popular view on this board but there is no way we're getting out of this mess to go back to the 18th century created, 19th century augmented constitution and the archaic system that it established.

If there will ever be a United States after Trump and if it is to be a healthy political entity, we need to rewrite its foundation and move headfirst into the 21st century.

IOW, second republic or bust.
