I grew up dirt poor but somehow ended up making more money than I could spend. When a bad investment cost me six figures a few years ago, I lost sleep for weeks. Then it hit me: Why destroy my health over a loss that doesn't change my material reality? I’m always going to be a cheap SOB anyway.
This is the 'Final Boss' of thinking traps. For these people, grifting is oxygen simply because More is all they know.
