Just don't bet too hard on the concept of an "ideology free analysis based solely on objective facts". Your detailed understanding is as guided by your ideology as mine is with my ideology. Your nuances and situational awareness is as filtered through your ideology as is mine.
Ideology is not just a collection of propositions you want to hold on to as your anchor. It is how you view the world. It is the methodology you follow in making sense what's around you. It is the proverbial water in the "what is water?" parable.
