They took a calcuated risk and made the right choice. Any company could have done that.
As far as I know Lutnick didn't have inside information on what SCOTUS was going to do. Everyone heard the same oral arguments. They were smart enough to act on it.
There is massive corruption in the Trump administration, but this doesn't seem like an example.
