In three years, the Trump presidency will become too toxic for any candidate to run on and expect a total vote above 30% (assuming fair and secure elections, of course, which is not a given) unless they distance themselves from it, in which case they would lose the 30% Trump base.
Plus he is as charismatic as the dog poop you just stepped on, so there's that too.
The next successful candidate will have to bring their own charisma, their own personality (which Vance completely lacks), and enough political savvy to look both as a Trump outsider and a MAGA insider simultaneously. Also someone with enough white power credibility (that is most certainly not a man who married a non-white woman -- and divorcing her in the next year and marrying Erika Kirk will look as inauthentic as hell; he either does that this week or it's too late) ...
The answer is Tucker Carlson, for sure. (Unless of course he f*cks up and converts to Catholicism between now and then.)
