After Iran ....

Israel is setting up the groundwork for turning its attention to Turkey as the next enemy after they've neutralized Iran. The signs are there, the pattern is pretty clear.

For the record, Turkey and Israel have not had any military confrontation. The biggest point of conflict was when IDF attacked a Turkish flotilla trying to get to Gaza in the past couple of years. The country has not claimed that Israel had no right to exist, ever, to my knowledge. They have not stated any interest in the destruction of Israel, and in fact up until a handful of years ago, the two countries were co-=operating with one another on a few fronts.

The problem is, Turkey is the other major military power in the region and Israel's goal is what every wannabe expansionist nations want: eliminating any potential military force that may oppose them down the line. Things are going to get pretty hairy when that part of the plan starts playing out.

PS: As someone who has deeply disliked Erdogan, his regime, and his party, as well as a string of other right wing a-holes who ruled the country since that (CIA supported) goddamn 1980 coup, I am going to be very clear about this: I don't want the US or Israel to touch a hair on Erdogan's hair. He's ours to deal with, and no outsiders are welcome to even try to get to. It's our job to take him and his regime down, and ours alone.
