Throw in an ongoing spin cycle and that describes what is going on in Iran v US et al.
Both sides seem to be declaring victory, but that will only come if an actual workable agreement is reached. Iran is a theocracy posing as a country, while the US is whatever Trump says it is at any moment during which his lips are moving. Both sides have a lot of bark, but militarily speaking the US has much more bite. However, Iran has a loud bark because it controls access to much of the world's supply of petroleum products and its location allows it to intimidate the other suppliers around the Gulf.
So here we are and where our side is headed depends upon the man with a hair trigger mouth who lives in the White House.
