But far too many performers imitate black voices by using the Amos and Andy stereotype. Their black voice is not a black voice but a caricature. I still see performers using the Amos and Andy voice to imitate Prez Obama.
But in stewards defense all his culture voices are caricatures. And in one mea culpa skit he admitted his Italian and Jewish mother voices were the same.
