When we started doing Turbo tax, everyone and his brother (or my brother) wanted us to do theirs. We were doing at least 5 returns per year. finally, both of our hard drives crashed one year so we had to go to an accountant. The cost was about 5 times greater but a million times easier for us.
epilogue: two people also went to a pro. My brother stopped filing and the other people went somewhere else. And I did to the accountant what people used to do to us, come in with a box and say go for it.
